In Habi, projects are either Partner-driven or Habi-driven.
Most of our projects are Partner-driven. This included projects that partners or clients approach us for. They usually have concrete asks (i.e. design and facilitate a 2-day workshop on XYZ) or a clear vision (i.e. I want our employees to be innovative and creative) and we work with them towards their desired outcomes. All our partner-driven projects come with a partner code (usually two of three letters) then the project name. Each LXD is typically in 4 to 5 partner-driven projects at a time.
Habi-driven projects are ones that we initiate ourselves. For example, Gerson wanted to feature an overall theme of “Learning x Change” for Habi’s 7th Anniversary. This seed idea resulted to several lab-grown projects in the Habi Channels. Habi Plus produced Learning for Change microcourses, and Habi Hour produced a season on Learning with Change. Habi Live hosted 2 lab-grown workshops namely the annual Teachers Teaching Teachers, and Learning to Change Celebrations. Alongside these, Habi Live also hosted 2 online workshops in the form of collaborations - working with Positive Workplaces on Learning to Change Team Cultures, and with InclusiviTeach and School of Deliberative Futures for Learning to Change Perspectives.
Aside from these occasional initiatives, the core circles (Loob, Labas, Lusong, Laro and Lingon) are also considered Habi-driven projects. Habi-driven projects use XX in place of a partner code.
Have a look at the Project Dashboard which is managed by our Curator. This shows you all our active projects and past project from way back 2019 according to project phases.
